FAQs
-
Booking in advance is recommended and tickets are available for purchase online.

We will still go out in light rain and other moderate weather conditions. If the weather is severe and we have to cancel, you can reschedule to another trip or receive a credit for a future event. If you can not reschedule, you can be refunded. If it’s a rainy day, please dress appropriately.
-
Yes, you can, but there is no reduced price ticket for those that just want to ride along. If you don’t want to fish, you’ll still need to purchase a full-priced ticket. We do not keep track of who is fishing. There are fishing poles set up all around the boat for everyone to enjoy.
-
Yes, children are allowed to join us. We recommend that children be at least 3 years of age, however, please keep in mind that this trip is 5 hours long and parents know their children best and should determine whether it is appropriate for their child. That said, we have discounted rates for kids ages 3 to 12, and it’s free for kids 2 years old and under.
-
No, unfortunately it is not recommended for pregnant women due to the motion of the boat.
-
We suggest guests arrive a minimum of 30-45 minutes (1Hr in the Summer)before the boat is scheduled to leave so you can check in, have time to get your equipment settled and pick your spot on the boat. The trip will leave promptly on time!
-
Oh sure, nothing like a new experience! Our crew will help you and answer any questions you have. You will need to let them know that you have never fished before and that you would like some help. Often times, some of the “seasoned” veterans are even willing to offer advice as well.
-
You can keep as many fish as are allowed by the state regulations and limits. Your captain and crew are up to date on the most recent limit details, and will be able to tell you what is legal and what is not. Regulations vary depending on the season and what we are fishing for on a particular day.
-
It all depends on what type of fish are in season. Our typical catches include black sea bass, grunts, flounder, rudderfish, small jacks and sharks, but when other fish are in season we will fish for them too.
-
We typically use squid, sardines, and mackerel. On other occasions we’ll use what’s available and working best for catching fish.
-
We typically fish anywhere from 6-12 miles offshore depending on where the fish are. Usually, we are fishing within 45-60 minutes of leaving the dock. We’ll spend the rest of the time fishing until it’s time to head back.
-
Since there are multiple species of fish to catch at all times, if we catch our limit of one species, we continue fishing for others.
-
No, it is illegal to sell the fish you catch without proper licensing. If you decide not to keep any of the fish you catch, you can either release them or give them to a crew member.
-
Our crew will gladly clean and bag any fish you catch for you to take home for a small fee of 50 cents per pound.
-
We can guarantee fishing but unfortunately, not catching. The captain will do everything in his power to put you where the fish are, but we cannot control what does or does not bite the hook.
-
No, we have a blanket license that covers all our passengers. You will not need to get your own license in order to participate.
-
